Concept creation
Recording of the customer structure, location check for the construction of the heating system, rough definition of the district heating route, pre-dimensioning of the heating network and the heat transfer stations, simulation of the annual duration line, design of base load (biomass boiler), peak load boiler and buffer storage.

Profitability analysis
Estimation of investment costs for the main components, boiler house (boiler technology, piping, electrical and control engineering, construction costs), heating network (piping, heat transfer stations), determination of operating costs, determination of funding programme and funding rates, Proposal or definition of the heat price model or the necessary heat price, determination of the project return and preparation of a sensitivity analysis.

Presentation of the project results
Presentation of the results (e.g. in the local council or in a public, highly effective information event)

Energy and process engineering concept, design of the fuel feed and flue gas cleaning system, preparation of the disposition plans Hydraulic planning (preparation of the hydraulic diagram as well as dimensioning and design of all components, 3D piping planning), disposal concept (ash, waste water) and preparation of the time schedules.

Heat network
Determination of the district heating route, dimensioning of the pipelines under consideration of future expansion stages, design of the district heating transfer stations, design of the network pumps, determination of the heat losses and simulation of different load cases.

Survey of customer installations
Recording of existing heating systems, checking for suitability for district heating supply, elaboration of optimisation proposals (lowering return temperatures, eliminating possible hydraulic problems).

Submission planning
Coordination of all approval procedures necessary for the realisation of the project, coordination or preliminary talks with the responsible authorities, application conference, construction consultation day, preparation of the submission documents (plans, technical description, etc.), specification of expert services, inclusion of the approval notices in the implementation planning.

Funding processing
Consideration of the guidelines of the respective funding agencies (KPC, TFZ, KFW, ...), preliminary talks with the responsible funding agencies, detailed preparation of the necessary documents (e.g. all services of the planner according to QM heating plants), incorporation of the funding criteria in the plant design.
