Obergurgl
Winter sports resorts offer very good conditions for the establishment of a central heat supply. On the one hand, the multitude of of hotels and pensions brings a very compact district heating network with high train path occupancy , and on the other hand a central generation has an effect with the latest flue gas cleaning very positive on emissions. For this reason, a heating plant was planned by aqotec in Obergurgl in 2016-2017.
The scope of services here again went from conception, submission to approval, funding processing, the entire tendering process and construction supervision to commissioning.
A total of 36 warmth customers from private houses, guesthouses up to the 5 star hotel including wellness area are supplied with warmth. A heating plant including a warehouse was built for this purpose. The plant technology comprises 2 biomass boilers(1.000kW and 2.500kW) with one multicyclone each, one common e-filter and flue gas condensation including dewatering. For the peak loads, 2 buffer stores with 80m³ each were installed. A 5,000 kW oil boiler serves as a reserve. Due to the terrain topography, the heating plant was hydraulically separated from the district heating network.
In addition to the entire planning of the technical systems, Aqotec also supplied the superordinate boiler house control, district heating transfer stations including control and the visualization.
